Costumes That Will Probably Never Be School Mascots
In today's politically-correct society, plenty of popular high school mascot costumes of yore have been blacklisted from being proudly worn as the team representative at high school football games. But political correctness isn't the only factor that needs to be taken into account when selecting a school mascot. Mascots should be proud, strong, iconic symbols -- symbols students can be proud of.

1. Angry Squirrel Mascot Costume
I know it's a squirrel, but it's an angry squirrel.
That's intimidating, right? Right?!
2. Valentine Mascot Costume
"If you score a touchdown on my turf, I'll give you a hug. And a hug is just a strangle that hasn't been finished."
3. Kiki Koala Mascot Costume
Kiki Koala looks more like a rat with a sexual identity crisis than anything else... Cute for a children's clothing store, perhaps, but we doubt you'll see her on the football filed anytime soon.
4. Sea Turtle Mascot Costume
"You can't hurt the Sea Turtles -- That's right, we're endangered."
5. Fish Mascot Costume
"Careful! If you remove us from the water, we might lay there and watch helplessly as you score the winning touchdown!"
6. Purple Triceratops Mascot Costume
Aside from the fact that the head looks more like a donkey that's stoned out of its mind, I can't imagine why any school wouldn't want this as its mascot.
7. Flapper Mascot Costume
While we'll admit that Liza Minnelli can be a little scary, wearing a giant replica of her head with a flapper dress probably won't scare the pants off of them. If anything, they'll want to keep their pants on. Tight.
8. Housewife Goose Mascot Costume
Geese can actually be quite vicious. Especially when you threaten to take away their credit cards.
9. Red-Nosed Reindeer Costume
Umm... remember how they used to laugh and call him names?
10. Baby Bear Mascot Costume
While this adorable guy might fit in nicely as the mascot of a candy store, opposing school teams might need diapers themselves as they laugh uncontrollably if an un-potty-trained bear cub is the representative of your football team.

"And please welcome the visiting team, McKinley high, and their mascot, the Ambiguously Gay Bunnies!"

"I can also do the Macarena."
